Included in our free and easy tour package, a half day tour!
1st, to the golden flower structure thingy that china gave to hongkong for their 'reunion'.
hmmm...
next to i forgot where, but all i noe is, nice scenery!
oh well, not that fantastic, i tot it looks like esplanade? ok maybe different buildings?
ok the best part here is DIM SUM!!!! OUR 1ST EVER DIM SUM!!!!
What is HK without dim sum?
Have been rushing off every single morning, thus dun have the time to have a good dim sum until day 4!!!! :(
juz like tvb drama hehe!
yum cha lo!~~
everything you see above (plus porridge) were sooooooo yummy! almost ALL except for the 'ji chong fan' thingy.
Had a few 'ji chong fan' thingy in hk to realise that the texture there is more rough and thick. *dislike*
oh and the dim sum is really CHEAP(at least cheaper than having it in sg)! i rmb we paid onli 50hkd per person (like 8+ sgd) can never get this price in SG!
stomach filled, NEXT! Victoria peak! I rmb we were only brought to the mid level due to time constraint.
so basically we went there only for photo session haha!
the more interesting, Repulse bay!
Basically this place is only for the rich to stay!
our tour guide told us that the fengshui here is the best and the ppl in HK believe alot in fengshui.
Apparently the pic below with all the houses and bushes look like a dragon head. (according to fengshui)
Guess wad?
All the rich HK celebrities/business man stay here! one of them is JACKIE CHAN!(arrow pointing his house)
there are some others who i forgot, such as jewellery boss, macau casino boss's wife(sth like that)
Btw properties there are at least 10mil sgd and abv!
temple juz rite beside.
long life bridge
yue lao
so it says each time you cross the bridge your life will be prolonged 3 days(in heaven i think? and that is 3 years in mortal.)
oh btw that's my new watch which i got from citygate the previous day! :D
last attraction, some fishing place.
riding on the sampan which costed us abt 10sgd? i forgot.
Totally waste of time and money -.-
next the tour guide wanted to bring us to some jewelery shop which i thot we sld juz give it a miss since we were both not interested.
off to MACAU at abt 1pm.
here we were at Macau!
Before reaching macau i thought that macau is very small, maybe juz a big circle.
A big casino surrounded by attractions and food stalls, all within sight, within walking distance.
But i was wrong! apparently is juz abit smaller than hk, maybe like sg???
whenever i watch hk show, when they ever mention macau, it's always about casino so i thought macau only have got food and casinos, but they actually have shopping malls!!!!
Damn! I only planned half a day there including 2 hours of traveling (1 hr each way exclude custom)
so to be exact we only hav prob 4 hours there?
guess my homework isn't sufficient, i didn't noe it takes this long to travel to macau! so when we reached macau we were alrdy super hungry!
once we were in macau, we saw a line of babes dresses like race queens!
they were holding different casinos sign board, i suppose that was to attract gamblers to their casinos?
And there were free shuttle buses to the casinos, was so hungry at that point so we conveniently took one of the shuttle bus and see wad food we can find there.
The only casino that i know of is definitely VENETIAN! that's where my Korean boyfriend (li min ho =P ) filmed 'boys over flowers'.
Had our dim sum there then had a stroll around the casino.
MY VERY 1st TIME visiting casino!
I realised Gambling take lots of skills, i don't even understand wad ppl were playing!
hoping for wad call as 'beginner's luck', i tried a few betting at the 'big/small' table which min betting abt sgd 40+.
Every betting gave me a heart attack!
to conclude, i dun hav 'beginner's luck' and left shortly and tried the jackpot!
The easiest form of gambling, juz pull the handle and wait for the result, each pull is a min of 1hkd (less than 20cents sgd).
in the end we won abit from the jackpot (cover some of the money we lost on the table) but at the end, i still dun understand how the jackpot machine works! lol!
some of the chips used!
babes spotted again! esp the one of the right! *snap*
next to some very famous shop for egg tarts that i found online.
Took quite some time before we finally found it.
But.......... was CLOSED! =(((
then to the very famous shop for almond cookies!
boxes of almond cookies/biscuits!
actually the best is still the PEANUT CANDY! so gonna ask ppl bring more of it back for me! hehe
one of the attractions: ruin of st paul.
k! that's all for macau! back to HK to meet our new friends for some chill out session at LAN KWAI FANG!
That's for now! continue in next post!
