'microsoft windows' scam

Writing this post to warn u guys about the irritating 'microsoft windows' scam.
Have been receiving calls from the so call 'microsoft windows' company from some indians(with very strong indian accent). They told me that they received signal(or wadeva) from my windows that my com is infected with some kinda virus and that it gonna crash my com if i don't do anything about it. So i asked which particular computer in my house that she was referring to and she told me to juz switch on either 1 to check as she guide me through.
As i almost wanted to switch on my com, it suddenly struck me that this might just be a scam so i told her i was busy right now and asked if she could call me back in half an hr.
Immediately after she hung up i searched for microsoft helpline and asked if they had called me regarding this matter. From them that i realised i was not the only one who received such call, and that if i would have followed their instructions, they could have installed some kind of virus into my com and threaten me to pay them to uninstall it (or sth like that if i didnt rmb wrongly).
So anyway the next time they called, i tried to ask for their number and i subsequently provided the number to microsoft and they said they already have the number but can't do anything about it.
Not giving up, they called me times and again altho i told them i had alrdy clarified the matter with microsoft. Even until now they still call me! And everytime they speak in super strong indian accent! So rmb if u rec such call, juz ignore it!!!

Lazyworm vs Bookworm

Have been dinning w my bf this way recently, so that i can at least 'try to study' alittle at his place during weekends instead of shopping outside.
Lazyworm like me can never become a bookworm esp weekends!!! We ended up watching drama or even went cycling in bishan park! :x
Oh myyyyyyy is my last lap in sch now and i still couldn't find the motivation to studyyyyyyyyyy! Less than 2 weeks to exam!!! So dead!!!!

So applicable! *pull hair*

On the lighter note, I AM FINALLY GO BKK!!!!! *screammmmmm*
I got the tix from scoot at a reasonable price. They had super valuable price as low as $88 initially but the good dates were taken up soooo damnnn fastttt! Like in less than half day of the promo????
Why u ppl act so fast 1!!!! i cant wait for the shopping and feasting!!!! Gonna hold down my excitement and do my revision now!!! start planning only when my exam ends!!! *deep breathe*

Another saturday

A trip to ikea last week! The place was filled w ppl and i dislike crowd!
Have to remind myself not to go on a weekend!

Then we had dinner/ supper (very late dinner) at thomson area. our original plan was to dine in fatman but we were too late for that. So we have to settle for sth else which is juz a few shops away, the newly opened ice edge. I had seafood risotto while bf had fish n chip. Oh man! We juz found a uber yummy place for fooddddd! The fish n chip tasted better than those from fish n co!

I love that tho i am not a fan of fish.

Mine was good juz that it was wayyyy spicy!
They added quite abit of chilli padi in it and i couldn't finish it cuz it was too spicy for mi!
Wr so gonna go back there again!

Ding tai fung for lunch.
Our initial plan was to catch a movie next but there isn't any movie that interest us.
shop around town before dinner then!

Dinner at Bedrock cuz i told bf that i wanna have steak for my bday dinner!






Bf came across quite a few good reviews before deciding to bring me there!



expecting real good steak for the price stated on the menu!


Both of us were having some kinda stomach upset and can't eat much so we only ordered steak. No sides.

New york rib eye w red wine sauce for bf (bigger portion than mine)



Australian ribeye with whisky sauce for me


Compared the 2 and the Newyork rib eye was harder/more tender (a better word to us?)
I actually find that both were too chewy for my liking, too much exercise for my jaw! (both were med rare done btw)
Other than that, it tasted really nice! I actually like it without any sauce.
oh and the red wine sauce taste better cuz the whisky sauce taste like wasabi and i dislike it!

He gave up eating his and ate wadeva i cant finish. hehe

I think we expected too much initially thus having quite abit of disappointment cuz the rib eyes were too chewy for our liking!


While waiting for the bill to come, i heard the staff singing birthday song while they walked towards me!
Surprise surprise!
They actually asked if that day was any special occasion when my bf called for reservation.
So i had this complimentary cake!
Such great service!

The table across us heard the singing and one of the guy actually looked at our direction and held up his glass with a smile as if he was giving a toast to me.
That was a nice encounter!

Barrage next to spend the last few hours of my birthday!






To me, Birthday is like Celebration of one's existence. So for those who celebrated my birthday with me, my dearest girlfriends, I know you are celebrating my existence right!
I know right! dun deny hor. *blush* LOL!
Anyway i do like the idea of buying a gift for my mum on my birthday to thanks her for enduring the nine months of inconveniences while having me in her tummy and the pain while giving birth to me. Oh well, i will try to get her something on my next birthday after i start working! And that will be the gift i bought with my OWN money instead of using their money to buy pressie for them! Hope i will rmb wad i wrote today! hahaha!
