bkk day 2

In the morning, we packed up and left our luggages with the bellboy cuz they promised us to change our room to those with king size bed that night!

Left our hotel around 9.45am, intending to head to chatuchak but the taxi driver told us that more shops open on Sunday, so we headed to siam paragon instead.

But shops only open after 11am! =(

Don’t exactly know what was that but it tasted not bad. soft in the inside and crispy on the outside.

There were nothing much we could do in the morning so we waited at the entrance till it open. Look at the crowd!

Photobucket
Why were there people waiting at the entrance even before it open?!?!?

Singapore food court should adopt the idea of providing free tissue! *ki chiew*

The 4D effects were lesser than expected but still worth it! 400bht = 16sgd (equivalent to watching 3d in sg infact, cheaper)

Siam paragon is way atas for an unemployed like me.
we move on to siam street (a somewhat bugis street area) next!

we went too early and realized we should only go there after 5pm cuz that’s when the street stalls start to open.

taking a break in the noodle shop

So reluctant to leave after the street stalls open! =(
Shopped till 6pm and had to leave for nana to tailor my boy office wear.

meet up with ZY for dinner at mbk.
Bf and I have to miss this stop cuz we don't have time for it! =(

so we head over to somboon which is near MBK (not that near after all)
Found out about this place through tripadvisor.
Disappointed by the price and quality of food...

Because of some miscommunication between the hotel staff, they only have 1 room with king size bed available. That means the other available room will be twin beds which make our packing and moving redundant... You think we have alot of time to waste?
one of the staff try to defend himself by saying 'you tell her, not tell me' and said that he can't do anything. What kind of service is this? This statement made me flare up.
Had to raise my voice (alittle) and he decided to give us a suite (i don't even know a budget hotel has got suite!).
1 room 1 night only!
At least it make sense to move from a twin room to a suite than from a twin to a twin.

we decided to flip a coin to see who shall take this room and we got it.

bathrobes that only suite provide
Photobucket
and the slippers too
Photobucket

btw the toilet flush was so weak that i couldn't flush off my shit(literally) =X

I wonder who will book a suite in a 2/3 stars hotel?
