Hong kong day 2

Woke up at 7am in the morning to grab some bite before our tour guide pick us up from hotel to ocean park.
On our way there, we did some planning on which rides to go, where to go for lunch, applied sun block on my hands and legs, getting prepared and all excited for the day until we reached our destination...

see the umbrellas??? It was raining heavily when we reached ocean park! #!^&%$&@%^#&@%^

The worse thing that can happen during an overseas trip is RAINING!!!!
it totally ruined our day at the park... zzzzzzzzzzzz

Altho i hate getting dark, but seriously i wld rather be seeing the scorching sun than the dark clouds and rain!

in a few minutes the rain stopped, and the sun started to shine so we thought it's juz a passing cloud. *pray*

took the cable car to the other side of the park.(where most of the rides are)

the cable car feels abit fragile when we 1st sat in it.
1st time i see my bf feeling scared of height, he was actually holding on to the pole in the cabin! hehe!

the 1st and only ride we took! #@^$&^(!@#^@&$(

it turns at 720 degree. i meant 360 side to side, 360 top to bottom.

It started drizzling again! so we went to the aquarium.

the sea lion.

And after this, the rain started pouring HEAVILY!
infact it was raining every 5-10 mins then it stops after every 5-10 mins, the cycle repeats. Never have i seen such horrible weather in SG! LUCKILY!
we were all drenched even with umbrellas! (thanks to Zhiying who went hk last month, she told us to bring an umbrella everywhere we go cuz the rain comes without warning!)

since the weather was bad, rides were closed, we went to to take our lunch hopefully the rain stops by then.
Dun understand how the 'neighboring country ppl' can be sooooooooooo excited about the rides even in such weather. Have i alrdy mentioned how pushy these ppl can be? they try all means to cut ur Q so beware! *pissed* (i was actually warned about this by my tour agent)

The dinning place are was SUPPOSED to be sheltered but u can feel water droplets dripping, so we have to find one SPECIFIC spot to avoid the droplets! pathetic max!

Unfortunately, the rain didn't stop so we decided to leave the place. =(((( so super waste money lorrrr! =(((((

'luo tang ji'

after we took the cable car to the main entrance, there happen to be this water performance, so we stayed to watch it before we leave. (try to make our trip more worthwhile)

a pool of water at the base btw!

the most handsome one raising his hand. =X

the highest that he climbed!

k so last few photos in the park!

Bye bye ocean park =((((( so upset our $40 (80 for the both of us infact) juz flew away =(

since we when from prince edward to mongkok on the 1st day, we thought probably sld shop from the other end back to the mongkok again. so we did!
starting from tsim sha tsui.
'high tea' first. basically, we juz follow the crowd, checked which shop has more ppl then we go in to eat.

'Ting zai zhuo' for me

super thick and fat you tiao and some drinks for him? i 4got wad he had.

so then we continue shopping! Which all the streets looking the same! then we finally found a shopping mall that looks like far east plaza (forgotten where) and spent sometime there.

2 days of continuous walking, our feet hurts like shit!
sooooooooo we went for a feet massage! SHIOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

was about 98 hkd for 45 mins? that is 15sgd? wow now that i think of it, it not cheap! but we couldn't care much at that time.

to rest, is to prepare for a longer journey.
so we continue walking towards mongkok and we did!

so anyway we went to 'langham' centre and i bought a pair of heels at H&M then we were too restless.
had some street food and dessert before we head back to our hotel again.

btw hong kong has got v standard street food. almost every street stalls sell the same things.
fried pig intestine, fish ball, stinky tofu etc. what i mean is, when you see 1 stall, you have seen all. Thus, i prefer taiwan, where every places you go sells different kinda food!
